De hier aangeboden Port is thans volledig op dronk. Diep rood van kleur, zonder enig spoor van bruin. Een krachtige en voor zijn leeftijd nog frisse wijn met een lange en intense smaak en afdronk. Hierin zijn zwarte bes en pruim te herkennen. Heerlijk bij chocolade en chocolade gerechten.

Bright, dark ruby. Exotic aromas of cassis, black raspberry, cappuccino, cinnamon and mace hint at a liqueur-like sweetness. Very rich and sweet on the palate; plush of texture and rather soft, but extremely concentrated. Really superb inner-mouth flavors. With powerful buffering extract and thick, compelling fruit, this port thoroughly hides its alcohol. The tannins coat the teeth. Delicious.

Vinous -- Stephan Tanzer

Sweeter fruit, ripe and more youthful than the '91. Coffee again but also dark choc/cocoa. Pronounced and tightly woven fruit character – more red than black with distinctive sweet spice character on the lengthy finish. Needs a while yet before opening to its full potential (Richard Hemming).

A gorgeous young thing--even better than I remember from barrel. This is an extremely fresh, floral and fruity young Port, full to medium in body and of medium sweetness, with a ripe and plummy aftertaste of good length.
